Mr. and Mrs. Mc Donald loves the outdoors. Even though Mrs. Mc Donald the Former Mrs. Roy Carter was from a family who has been involved in basketball, music, bands, and dance, Josh Dees being the only grandson of Mrs.  Kathleen Carter Mc Donald and the late Roy Carter ,is now playing in high school basketball, and has a great future in it. Plus having a love of sports Mrs.  Mc Donald has taken a love for the dogs, and the out doors. A Litter of 4 the mothers died has been raised by her and named, Ennie, Minnie , Mighty and Moe (Direct Grand pups of Elhew Snake Foot ) Mr. Mc Donald , family has been involved in hunting and sports, Eddie Mc Donald is the only son interested in hunting and raises and breeds Lab. Retrievers all of Mr. Mc Donalds family are keenly interested in all sports and outdoor life. Mr.Mc Donald started bird hunting with his dad when he was 6 or 7 years old. There has always been pointer bird dog in the family since that date. Mr. Mc Donald got interested in fox dogs when he came out of the army after WW2 . He ended up raising or owning some of the best in the country . Nat. Ch. Dr. F.E, Nat. Fut. Ch. Chester Davis, Ga. State Ch. Jim Pickett , who was also the sire of N.C. Champion Brush Creek Dick, N.C. Ch. Hornet, and Ga. State Derby Winner, and many other placements. We are now taking the same breeding approach with bird dogs that we did with fox dogs . We are at the 75 yrs old stage and we can't do the field trails as we would like, ; but we can have the right kind of English Pointer Bird Dogs and train the pups up until they are about 6 months old.
